We all learn differently and Relearn we get this. This is our “burger with the lot course”. This 10 week course is in-person classroom based learning led by founder and lead instructor Martin. At Relearn we are “people marketing” advocates crafting strategy that puts the humans you want to talk to (ahem…your customers) at the heart of what you do. Together we will craft a content strategy that will delight your humans at every step of the journey and then work on the right digital channels to get this content seen. Digital marketing is overwhelming – there we said it. This course is designed to hand the power of digital marketing back to you. As a small to medium sized business it’s unlikely you can (or want to) do everything yourself. We have designed the course to be flexible to your specific needs – we dive deep (you will be setting up reporting dashboards..yup) into reporting and optimisation tactics to keep your plan on track. We also look into taking your newly crafted digital strategy and turning this into briefs for internal team members, freelancers or agency partners. We want to hand the power of digital to you, we dont just want you to leave with a digital strategy but a plan of how to get it implemented, by who and how to keep it on track.
Relearn have built this course for small to medium sized businesses. Whether as owner or employee marketing for an SME we understand that running a small business has its unique challenges. Budgets, access to tools not to mention time! At Relearn we get you (we are a small business too) so we have packed this course with examples, tools, templates and projects that are built for small business. We unpick the digital jargon and cut through with relatable case studies and examples that are designed to give you maximum actionable impact while balancing the time input.
The course runs over 10 weeks during which time you will gain the skills to produce a concise digital marketing plan, tactics for your most important channels and processes to keep your plan on track. You will learn the theory and then get your hands dirty by applying your learning to practical tasks. You will be working on your business and will be given access to your digital marketing strategy template in week 1. You will be applying your learning to the template as we go finishing with a fully formed strategy complete with tactics and ready to be implemented.
Too often we talk about (and worry more) about tactics in marketing – and that is amplified ten fold when it comes to digital. At Relearn we have two feet firmly in the “strategy before tactics” camp or the “why are we doing that” camp. We kick off by diving deep into who you are as a business, unearthing your “why” and crafting your offer to make you stand of from the crowd.
We dive into what your humans think, feel and do – what issues they have and how you solve them. Get ready to roll up your sleeves as this is where we get into the nitty gritty of content. How content drives engagement, conversations, delights, inspires, entertains – the whole lot. We walk through reusable frameworks and tools so you can craft your “offer” and detail the content you will use to wow your humans.
Armed with your content we walk through in detail how to use the main digital platforms and channels to find your humans. We will talk about paid, owned and earned media (Say What!…Here is a quick dive into the P.O.E model) and what will work best for your business. We walk through how to break your plan down into projects briefs from internal and external teams and .how to set up reports that will help keep your plan on track.
You are not alone! Far from it you will be supported by your course lead throughout. You will also be connected with the other learners to create a dynamic and interactive learning community.

Martin is a digital marketing specialist with over 20 years experience in inbound marketing strategy, eCommerce, digital strategy, social media, SEO & SEM and content marketing.
Martin’s experience spans both the UK and Australia working across hundreds of brands, from global corporates to nimble startups, detailing great strategy and delivering commercially driven activations. He has a passion for tackling marketing problems head-on and unravelling the why at the centre. He has taken his passion for digital marketing in the learning field and is helping inspire that next generation by sharing everything he has learnt over the last 19 years.
Kate Fennessy has worked in the social media marketing space for 8+ years, working with brands including Swisse, Pedders, Swann Insurance and Nature’s Organics to help them establish an effective social media presence.
Kate now runs her own social media marketing business based on the Mornington Peninsula, Paperboat Digital, working with small and medium businesses.
Kate also writes for Mamamia and is writing her first novel, a creative process which is being captured on a podcast called Novel Therapy with New York Times bestselling author, Helen Brown.
A search marketing specialist who’s overseen campaigns for FTSE 250-listed corporations and national retailers alike, Greg came to Melbourne digital marketing agency Full Measure Digital from the startup world, serving as Growth Marketing Manager at travel startup Rome2rio, and is a regular presenter at General Assembly and The Talent Institute. In addition to being a featured speaker at Monash University and RMIT, Greg’s been featured in numerous publications, including Fast Company.
